When it comes to earch and rescue, Qualia’s site allows clients to practice and carry out search scenarios for people lost in forest or aquatic environments.
Industry needs
Search and rescue authorities need the help of drones when they search for lost persons in forests or on water thanks to thermal signatures or other means.
Recreational environment
A very large area of forest is located near the Qualia site, allowing us to recreate a search in a forest environment. It will also be possible – thanks to the CED’s flight zones, the vastness of Lac Saint-Jean (1,041 km2) and the presence of dams – to carry out search and rescue scenarios in aquatic and restricted environments.
